Protect your egg and unlock upgrades in this silly egg wave defense!

Made in less than 20 hours for the Blackthornprod "DAY 5 - Pass the GAME Challenge 2023"

I did a huge overhaul on the weapon/upgrades system 

Controls:

WASD = Move

Left Click (Hold) = Shoot

Right Click = Dash

My Changes:

(UI Bugged, Fullscreen In Web Hides Important UI elements)

  • Upgraded to Unity URP
  • Cleaned / Reorganized Assets Folder Structure
  • Fixed Enemy Materials (URP)
  • Added Abstract Singleton Class
  • New Font
  • Renamed Game
  • Reworked Environment
  • Added New SFX To Main Menu (CLUCKSHOT! Voice Over)
  • Generated New Prefabs
  • Rewrote Music Manager (Now Plays Random Music Tracks)
  • Added 10 Music Tracks
  • Made All Weapons "Automatic" = Hold To Shoot (Better UX)
  • Overhauled Upgrade System (Major Rework)
    • You no longer buy upgrades you unlock upgrades by getting XP, when you have enough XP upgrade window opens and you get to pick 1 of 3 random upgrades
  •  New Upgrades Added
    • Fire Rate
    • Damage
    • Movement Speed
    • Dash Range
    • Egg Health
    • Bullet Size




  • Upgrades Now Have Visual Changes (New Gun Model, Chicken Size, Bullet Size)
  • Updated Upgrade Menu UI
  • Added New Upgrade Icons
  • Fixed Health Text
  • Removed Pressing T = Free Money (Sorry Cheaters!)
  • Changed Money to XP
  • Changed player collider from sphere to box to prevent sliding issues
  • Added A New Dash (Right Click)
  • Reworked Weapon System
  • Added New Gun Models
  • Every 10 Waves a boss spawns

Install instructions

  • Download Unity 2022.3.4f1
  • Download CLUCKSHOT(Project).zip
  •  IF PROJECT FILES FAIL TO UNZIP TRY WINRAR!
  • Unzip the contents and extract it to a memorable folder.
  • Open the Unity Hub.
  • Find the "Open" button and look for "Add Project From Disk".
  • Search for the top most folder in the downloaded project and select. (Alternatively fork from github url)

I only got to wave 9, enemies move way too fast, and leveling up is too hard.
