Improvements Update (1)


Due to the instability of this prototype / demo It is recommended to start a new save each update.

Bug Fixes:

  • Player can no longer spam jump while walking into walls to climb them

  • Player no longer gains the ability to jump an infinite amount of times from broken pot colliders.

  • Can no longer load multiple copies of the level at once by spamming load / new game .

  • Cinematic bars now scale with screen size.

  • Player can no longer travel up the elevator platform if they do not have correct amount of crystals.

  • Camera no longer collides with small objects / props.

  • Removed Input Debugging from UI

  • Prevented Player HUD/UI from displaying during launch & main menu.

  • Player no longer collides with broken pot pieces.

Known Bugs:

  • Player can’t aim with mouse

  • If you enter a gravity pad while gliding you will be launched into the air

  • UI Doesn’t hide during cinematic camera

  • Intro BGM restarts if you pause the game after it has finished playing

  • Sometimes grass doesn’t spawn

Improvements:

  • Pots

    • Pot models have been replaced for performance

    • Pots now drop collectables when broken

    • Pots now have a break SFX when broken

    • Added more pots

  • General

    • Game Icon Updated

  • Blade Traps

    • Added ambient SFX

  • Camera

    • Camera now inverts during the falling platform crystal area.

  • QOL

    • Added drawings on the ruin walls to help the player locate the direction of crystals

    • Updated collectables UI to display clear objectives.

    • Increased global KillBox height so player respawns faster after falling into deep water.

    • Added various checkpoints to make falling / dying less punishing.

  • Environment

    • Added Pillars

    • Added particle effects to areas of map

  • Gliding

    • New VFX for when the player is gliding

    • VFX Size changes based on how many glides are left

    • Added SFX for when the player stops gliding mid-air

    • Added SFX while the player is gliding

  • Additions

    • Added animated chests (currently do nothing)

    • Increased Lost Wish count from 7 to 10 (One of these is super super hidden!)

    • Added new jumping puzzle to Blade Trap Area, Guess the right Path!

  • Music

    • Background Music while playing game is at half volume and no longer loops (Due to overpowering SFX and ambience).
